Chalkgate

Jury finds him "not guilty" on 13 counts, and he is no longer under a gag order.


Via the Stranger's Slog, San Diego Free Press reports Jeff Olsen found not guilty on all 13 charges for chalking protest slogans outside Bank of America branches.

His writing included, "No thanks, big banks," and "Shame on Bank of America."  

"It's water soluble chalk," said an exasperated Mayor Bob Filner to press, while criticizing the city attorney's prosecution of a "stupid case" that wasted taxpayer's money.
