Over the weekend, Floridians were still fighting for the right to vote, some waiting on early voting lines three .. to four .. to seven, even nine hours. People turned away shouted, "Let us vote!"
Ain't Venezuela.
Governor Rick Scott refused to extend early voting despite the extraordinarily long lines, a move many see linked to his Republican affiliations since those turning out early are often Democrats. Midday Saturday, the Miami Herald reported Democrats leading by 187,000 early ballots.
